Poor George needs our help!

George presented to Partner Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center on the evening of 3/3 for acute lethargy, pale gums, and bloody vomit and diarrhea. His case quickly took a turn for the worse as he became profoundly anemic, minimally responsive, and required an urgent blood and plasma transfusions. As a result of his severe illness he has developed complications with an abnormal heart rhythm and continued gastrointestinal problems secondary to this bleed. Thankfully he seems to have stabilized with treatment and his diagnostics did not reveal any surgical or cancerous cause for his gastrointestinal bleeding.

The high level of intensive care that George has required is an unexpected expense for Jaime. Although she is 100% committed to doing whatever it takes to pay his medical bills, she would appreciate any help she can get.

We all know that George is a staple of our community and is genuinely the sweetest boy. As a certified psychiatric support dog he has committed his life to helping others who are suffering during difficult times and is always at the ready with snuggles and wet kisses. He deserves our help during his time of need so he can get back to helping everyone else.
