A new kidney, and new life for Rochelle

Hello, my name is Rochelle. I am at end Stage 5 kidney failure. Things started changing for me back in 2012 when I started feeling excessively tired and couldn't exercise as usual. Changes in my body, my skin with pigment changes, swelling, stiffness and joint pain. Doctor diagosed me with Systemic Scleroderma. Progressively, things got worse.
I began having trouble swallowing, have gerd, back pain fybromyalgia, breathing issues, debilitating fatigue and exhaustion and the list goes on. I was diagnosed with FSGS... Focal Segmental Glumerulosclerosis.
Scleroderma and chemo meds with high blood pressure effected my kidneys and that has led to kidney failure. On Friday, Jan 24th, 2020, I got a phone call saying that I was approved to be on the kidney transplant list. So I am now officially listed and waiting and also looking for a living kidney donor. I am needing assistance at this time to put the word out to help find a kidney donor and help with the expenses of a kidney transplant. Some of the expenses include uncovered medical bills and costs, co-pays, medicines, temporary in home care post surgery, and of course to cover the expenses of the donor including airfare and their post-surgery support. I'm out here in Virginia with just my son, daughter-in-law and two baby grandchildren. If you can lend a hand and help me please, I'd be grateful. I am a mother of 3 loving children, with 5 Beautiful grandkids and mom to 3 furbabies, My doggy Kai'ano and my cats Joey & Ryder. I love life and volunteer Rescuing, Transporting & rehabbing Wildlife. I would love to be able do so much more and with your love, care & support, it can happen. It takes a village.
