For all who are blessed to know Sarah Robator Stone (41) you know how enriched your life is because of the love she shares. You know her for her selfless character, her unmatched heart and for her infectious smile that shines light into the darkest places. You know her for the passion she shares for her vocation of teaching and the unbreakable string that connects her heart to her family and her friends. Sarah is proof that blessings come in the form of people, and in the form of small exchanges that impact your life in unimaginable ways. God knew the world needed the light and life Sarah effortlessly shines into the heart of everyone she encounters.

In 2009, Sarah was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), spending 9 months in and out of medical facilities receiving 3.5 years of chemotherapy. Through each step stood her mom and dad, Nancy and David Robator, and her siblings; Amy, Karen and Scott. Nancy and David were Sarah’s strength, advocates and guiding light through the horrific chapter that overtook her life at the age of 27 and for each next step in overcoming the mountain she was forced to climb. Sarah then spent 13.5 years healthily and happily in remission. In the 13.5 years, Sarah married the love of her life; Aaron Stone, who also stood beside her through each phase of treatment and healing. Together they had two miracle children; Andrew (8) and Blake (6). In 2021, Sarah embarked on a faith journey that led her, her parents and her business partner into opening a private Preschool and Kindergarten; Gage Farm Schoolhouse in Goffstown, New Hampshire. As an educator of 16 years, Gage Farm Schoolhouse beautifully captures Sarah’s teaching philosophy in masterful ways, creating a learning environment that focuses deeply on the whole child and their sense of exploration.

In 2022, Sarah was hospitalized for multiple blood clots on both sides of her lungs (pulmonary emboli) and in her legs. Sarah was later diagnosed with relapsed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) shortly before Thanksgiving at the age of 41. Sarah was admitted to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where she received a similar treatment plan to that of 2009. After months of invasive treatment and two failed bone marrow biopsies used to study and determine the progress of her current treatment plan, the results devastatingly showed that Sarah’s chemotherapy was not making progress toward the cancer cells taking over her body. In collaboration with Sarah’s team of oncologists and doctors surrounding Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Sarah will be immediately beginning CAR-T treatment where doctors will collect and train Sarah’s T-cells to fight the invasive form of Leukemia that is overtaking her body in hopes that among all other failed treatments this will pose a positive result, leading her into remission for the second and final time. Through continued unwavering love and support stands her faithful parents, siblings, husband and two boys, alongside countless friends and communities.

Medical expenses pose incredible financial burdens on families facing the unimaginable. These expenses take away from funds that could be used to create lifelong memories that will carry Sarah and her beautiful family through this time. The Stone Family is looking forward to planning a family trip to Disney when Sarah enters remission. To help ease the financial burden of medical expenses and financially fund their dream family vacation, please consider donating to support this beloved daughter, sister, aunt, friend, former athlete, educator and business owner.
