My name is Jessica and I have worked with Amy for over 10 years. Amy is a School Psychologist and one of the brightest, and most caring individuals I have met. Her goal for so many children she has helped is success. And we want that for her.

Some of you may know her Amy V. or Amy Vanderboegh.  She’s is now Amy Hays. Amy was lucky enough to meet the man of her dreams a little over three years ago.  They bought a house, got married, and had a baby in 2020.  Life was amazing!

In June of 2022 (3 months ago) Amys husband died of explained and unexpected complications of a run of the mill surgery (1% chance of complications).  This left her to care for her 2 year old son alone. She resumed work as a School Psychologist and tried to regain some normalcy to her recently rocked world.

4 weeks ago Amy received the devastating news that she has pancreatic cancer.  She is going to begin the fight of her life for her and her 2 year old little boy, Mick. She begins her course of treatment on Monday 9/19. During this courageous fight Amy will not be able to work and will need help in so many ways. Help with food, care for her son and to continue the day to day; from bills to house keeping. The money raised here will help with all of it. she has been recently widowed and now she has to over come an unimaginable obstacle.
