Crisis in Venezuela

My name is Alexandra Robinson, my mother is Kiki who is from Maracay, Venezuela. I️’m sure it’s known amongst some that Venezuela is a communist country turning into a country with basically no government at all. (I will provide links to articles with further information). There is a large scarcity of food, water, and medicine all throughout the country, my aunt recently had to get chickens so that she would be ensured eggs to eat; the markets are empty and food is spoiling due to loss of electricity. My uncle was recently WITHOUT ELECTRICITY for over TWO WEEKS. He could not shower, he could not cook, the little food in his refrigerator was spoiled, etc. Many people are dying whether it be from starvation, dehydration, lack of medications and necessary treatment, and police brutality. Maduro, the current president, is a corrupt authoritative figure, among with many of the people i️n the government. For example, a few weeks ago, a couple 18 wheeler trucks with supplies such as food and medicine, was sent from Colombia and Maduro had them all set on fire. There is no hope for Venezuela as a country. I️ am making this GoFundMe so that I️ can buy supplies to send to my family that is stuck in the dangerous country.
