Save my kids

I am a single father, a vet of the USMC. The only thing I love more than this country is my children. However, a dark time has come to my family. They have cried to their schools of their mother abusing them. We have joint custody and they have asked me to help them. Child Protective Services has done their investigation and have not really helped. A restraining order was dissolved by the same judge who divorced us almost 8 years ago forcing my kids back into the same home as the person who is abusing them. They have refused to leave my side. I have tried legal aide, calling and talking to lawyers. Most of them are telling me I need $10000.00 more than what I have at this time. No one is offering to set up arrangements. The police are still investigating but that takes time and that is something I fear we do not have. Those of you who know me, know I am not one to ask for help. I have trouble asking for help, it was once my job at one point to defend the people of this country I love and now I have to ask those same people to help me! Help me protect my kids, I need help to hire a lawyer to defend them and their rights. I will not give up and I will fight to my last breathe for them. Please help if you can. This is my sons idea to ask, he is only 11, and has convinced his 10 year old sister and myself that even if his mother doesn't care for them, complete strangers will have bigger hearts and help them fight for their safety.
