Sarah Sexton was placed in the hospital on November 7th, 2025 due to a series of GI pains. This resulted in an unexpected major surgery to repair parts of her stomach and esophagus which were covered in lesions. The impacts of this surgery were great, as it became more invasive than expected and sepsis was discovered - resulting in 8-9 units of blood transfused and a significant amount of oversight in the ICU.

As of 11/21, Sarah has been released from the hospital - but the nature of her injuries will result in a long period of rest nd healing. As Sarah works in direct patient care, she has been without work for several weeks while hospitalized without income which will continue to be the case while she is recovering and in rehabilitation.
