Hello, my name is Jess Nimblett. I’m starting this go fund me because my mom was recently diagnosed with advanced breast cancer.

If you grew up with my brother and I, you knew my mom and how loving, sweet, caring, and strong she is. Growing up in the Philippines, she has worked hard her whole life to help others and has always put others before her. Supporting not just my brother and I, but our family in the Philippines, she’s never not worked hard a day in her life.

As we are still trying to grasp this news and understand more from her diagnosis, the bills are already starting to pile up.

My mother unfortunately was let go from her job about a month before her diagnosis and does not have medical insurance. As we are navigating this and trying to get her the care she deserves, treatment and scans are starting to add up with many more coming in the future. We are hoping she will get approval of financial support from the hospital while also trying to get her the insurance she needs. We decided to have her move back home with us so we are able to be there for her as she is about to start chemo. Creating space for her and making a nice comfortable area for her to have as her own is a goal we have currently. Throughout this, mom has displayed immense courage and a positive outlook on this scary journey. We appreciate anyone who takes the time to read, share or donate if they can. The money goes directly towards helping my mom pay for treatments (currant and upcoming), but also helping her move in, travel to and from appointments and hopefully giving her some more peace of mind.
