Lucas Heart ❤️

My kitty Luca was taken to the ER vet on 4/19 for persistent vomiting. Our vet suggested that we do some imaging of his intestines to make sure he didn’t swallow anything and it obstructed. After getting our results back the vet and I were both shocked at the results. My Luca’s liver was pushed up to his heart and he has a suspected pericardial-peritoneal diaphragmatic hernia. Luca will eventually go into respiratory distress and pass. This is something that is fixable with surgery. However the vet offices need all the money upfront which I don’t have. With a heavy heart I’m asking for help with the costs of his surgery to save my Luca bear. He is such a sweet, gentle soul and deserves to live.
