Hello, Meet Lucy, she is our 1 year old Fawn Female Pug. Last night around 8:00 PM I let both of my pugs out to go to the bathroom, Thomas and Lucy. Thomas is a black pug, male, and much bigger. Lucy is our tiny little girl, weighing in around 12lbs.

 

I turned my back for just a moment to grab my phone while they are outside and Lucy was attacked, we believe by some type of bird, but we aren't positive what it could be. I found her in the bush bleeding and crying. We rushed her to ER, they cleaned her wound, stitched up her wound, and did X-rays. They found that it fractured her Neck.

 

The vet recommending surgery to help with her neck fracture, but they are estimating anywhere from $6,000-$10,000 for this surgery and everything else included with that. We already paid $2,200 in cost for the stitches and meds to help relieve this pain she's in.

 

We aren't expecting anyone to help pay for what she needs to be done, but I figured I would give it a go and see what we can raise to try and help her get back on her feet.

 

As of now, without the surgery, she has to be confined for 6-12 weeks with no activity whatsoever to see if her neck and properly heal.
