Help Tony Fight Cancer

In November 2024, our dad, Tony, received the devastating diagnosis of stage four lymphoma. The news was a complete shock to him and our family.

On November 22, Tony went to urgent care because he wasn’t feeling well. At first, they discovered pneumonia, and soon after, doctors began to suspect cancer. They sent him to the emergency room, where, within a few days, the cancer diagnosis was confirmed. What began as mild, manageable symptoms—occasional fatigue and discomfort—escalated with alarming speed. In just a matter of weeks, Tony’s condition worsened drastically, leading to significant weight loss, and the need for immediate medical care. The speed at which this illness has progressed has left us all reeling, as we struggle to understand how someone so vibrant can be facing such a serious and sudden battle.

At this time, the doctors are unsure about a prognosis as they are still waiting for all of Tony’s biopsy results to fully understand the scope of his condition. In the meantime, he has already undergone blood transfusions and is preparing to start chemotherapy soon. During this challenging and uncertain time our mum, Kate, has been by his side, caring for him and supporting our family.

We’ve created this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden of bills, transportation and other expenses. We want to ensure Tony can focus entirely on his treatment and recovery while remaining as comfortable and cared for as possible.
