We need your help to keep our home in Crockett, CA. We need your help now to maintain our health and pay past due expenses.
My husband and I have struggled for the past few years to attain a steady income. Things have been difficult but we are now at a breaking point. We have no savings, no 401k, no credit. We need to catch up on past due bills so we can move forward with certainty.
Because of the generous help we received in April &
May we were able to catch up on the 1 & 1/2 months we were behind on our Home Mortgage!!! and we were able to pay our Home Mortgage in May & June.
We still need your help for past due bills. We have past due Doctor's bills we must pay now (if we want to maintain relationships with our Dr.'s for chronic illness care). Because of your generosity we were able to pay one major past due Doctor bill in June. We also have past due bills for: PG&E (energy costs) & water. Because of your generosity we were able to make 2 past due car payments. We still need your help to make another car payment which is now past due. Because of your generosity we could afford 6 month overdue car maintenance. We still need new tires & front brake repair. (Without our car neither of us can work.) These costs are $4,528.
My husband is working at a job this July & August. He is actively job searching. He is highly skilled in digital image processing, basic computer & network troubleshooting, 2d design, 3d design, architectural modeling and rendering, household infrastructure, fine carpentry, installation and repair (plumbing, electrical, tile, etc). He has a unique design eye & excels in offering creative solutions for remodeling.
I work only part time due to chronic illness. I teach Enrichment Classes for K ~ 8th graders in jewelry making, watercolor, and art to wear at a local private school. Unfortunately for the 1st time since the Great Recession my class enrollments were half what is usual for me. This cut my income in half for this Spring session of classes. I won't receive income from those classes again until the Fall. I am advertising my poetry writing, jewelry making, & art to wear Summer Camps for this year. I hold small group Watercolor & Altered Books Classes for adults when there are interested students, here at my home Studio.
I am not getting sign ups for my children, teen, or adult classes this Summer. If you know of someone who might be interested in my classes or of a teaching or childcare oppotunity for me please let me know!
We live in Crockett, CA a small old factory town North of San Francisco, CA. Our campaign photo is our view of the working C&H Sugar Factory & the Carquinez Bridge. We live with our cat Sangcho in a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath home with another bedroom used as our Art Studio & Office. Our house was built in 1914 and is part of the original town footprint for C&H Sugar factory worker's housing.
