Please help Natalie with her top surgery!
Donations will go towards her stay in Vancouver and the necessary time off work for recovery.
Natalie is a trans woman and beloved member of our community.
She runs her own dog-walking business and loves her client’s pets as if they were her own. She's also a yoga instructor, sharing conversations of dharma with her students every class, leading the Westshore chapter of the Queer Run Club, and organizing social nights--open to all members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community!
Natalie began her transition journey in 2020 and is the happiest she's ever been, living as her authentic self. Along with her bottom surgery--that she recently got in 2025--top surgery will help Natalie feel whole, and be at home in her own body. When she looks in the mirror, she will see herself looking back.
As of Thursday, January 22, 2026, Natalie has been approved for her top surgery in Vancouver! Her consultation/sizing appointment is currently booked for February 25, 2026.
Top surgery recovery afterwards will leave Natalie unable to work for 4 to 6 weeks, as her jobs involve physical activity, walking dogs, teaching yoga and leading a run club. She is single and has no second income to rely on.
As a member of the queer run club that Natalie leads, and as a friend, I wanted to begin this GoFundMe to help support her during this time and ensure we can get her back to her work, activities and community, as soon as possible.
Your donations will go towards such things as: rent, groceries, medical supplies for recovery, other monthly bills, as well as her initial stay in Vancouver, after the surgery. Luckily--unlike bottom surgery where she had to stay in Vancouver for 3 weeks--this time around she will only be required to stay in Vancouver for two nights.
If you’re able, please consider sending a little money her way. Every little bit helps, even if it’s only a dollar or two. (If 50 people donated $2 each, it would be $100). If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this GoFundMe on your social media platforms so more people will see, and we'll be more likely we are to reach our goal.
Thank you for your time and consideration in supporting such an invaluable member of our queer community.
