Keep Korens Smile

My beautiful daughter-in-law Koren went to the dentist for her routine cleaning. After x-rays showed some abnormality they sent her to an oral surgeon who immediately referred her to an oncologist. She was diagnosed with "Odontogenic Myxoma". It is an uncommon, rare benign tumor. Unfortunatley it is crucial for the surgeon to remove it intact so as to further reduce the risk of recurrence, which could be a 25% chance of recurrance. It must be treated aggressively. The operation could be as long as 10 hours and involves removal of teeth, bone from her leg and a vey large portion of her jaw. A cadaver will also be used to replace some crucial nerves. She will have major reconstructive surgery to build a new jawbone. Koren will be hospitalized for over a week. She will be out of work for many months, will be in a great deal of pain and the whole healing process could take up to a year. There are procedures that must be done in the future. Her teeth alone could run up to $40,000. She has minimal insurance. The surgery, hospitalizaton and aftercare will be financially astronomical for them. My poor daughter is desperately trying to get more hours at her job to pay their rent each month all the while she is struggling with how she is going to take care of her beautiful wife, Koren and her aftercare needs.
I am starting this fund and asking from the bottom of my heart for help for these two very special women who are in desperate need for help now. Please help them by donating. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Any donation will help. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. I will continue to update you all on Korens surgery and progress here. Her surgery is scheduled for February 25. Prayers and positive vibes are welcome and appreciated.
Lastly, I graciously will quote Ralph Waldo Emerson...
"To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition, to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. THIS is to have succeeded." THANK YOU .
