Christian Nelson was born February 17, 2012 with Cerebral Palsy.  Along with this, he has also dealt with a seizure disorder, and most recently, a rare gastrointestinal disorder.  This disorder has caused him to be in the hospital for a total of 65+ days since January.  He has had multiple surgeries to help him maintain adequate nutrition to survive.  He and his family have had to travel to find specialists who were able to diagnose and treat his condition, leading to them having to move from Arizona to South Carolina to be near one.  All of this has caused his parents to miss quite a bit of work and ultimately caused his mother to begin the process of becoming a stay at home mom.  The money raised will help support the family during their transition and to help pay for any medical bills that may accrue due to the monitoring Christian will have to endure.
