Bella’s Medical Bills

Hello Everyone,

 

My name is Brando, doggy dad of Bella. I’m organizing this fundraiser for Bella who was recently hospitalized for Focal Seizure. For those who know Bella, she is bright, energetic and charismatic. She is known for her wild aroorooos greetings.

 

Sunday, June 5, 2022, we noticed her energy level was down and she was spaced out, she wasn’t herself. Around 7:30 pm is when we witnessed her having facial seizures. We took her into Veterinary Specialty Hospital in Sorrento Valley where they specialize in Neurology. That’s where the Doctors diagnosed Bella with Idiopathic Epilepsy. This means there are no underlying causes to her epilepsy, and it’s incurable. She will have to live the rest of her on anti-seizure medications. Upon examination, her blood work and MRI shows normal meaning she does not have any tumors or cancer that could have caused the seizures. We’re still waiting on her fungal & spinal tap results. If any of those results show positive, that means we can give her proper medication and the seizures should stop, but as for now, they still have not found the underlying cause.

 

Bella’s medical bills were not cheap and I’m hoping to raise some money to help cover the hospital stay and future medications. Anything helps. Thank you everyone for sharing and donating.
