Ok friends and family here I am doing       something I hardly ever do, I’m asking for help. Well technically begging for it           because I’ve gone in over my head for my senior pups. Usually I’m the one helping  everyone else with their dogs/cats/kids/ anything. If I can help I will and now           hopefully it’s my turn to get a little help.

Two weeks ago I had to make a very difficult decision to put my senior pup Precious to sleep she was going on 18 years old      and out of no where her liver began to     shut down. Of course I did what I could to try and save her (she was my “first born”), but treatments weren’t enough and I had to say goodbye. Fast forward two weeks later and here I was with my second senior Sheba blocked and unable to pee (completely blocked). My amazing friends/ coworkers did everything they could to avoid me having to take her to surgery because financially I was already in doggy debt. Unfortunately in the end it was emergency surgery or say goodbye to another     fur baby.

Having urinary stones is not a death sentence and I haven’t even recovered from my first loss to even think about doing it agin.  I love my sheba very much and would do anything for her, so surgery it was. They were able to remove the stone blocking her urethra with surgery and she is currently recovering and doing well. Nows the hard part, this surgery is not cheap and I have not been able to pay the bill. This is the difficult part for me, asking for financial help from family and friends.

I know times are tough for everyone now with this pandemic, but any little bit would make such a big difference for me.

I promise to pay it forward, I have a goal for my Senior Shebas surgery and if I reach it I plan to help out another friend in need!
