Louis Barrios' New Deck
Donation protected
Hello friends.
We want to take a moment to briefly share our sneaky plan for our wonderful neighbors.
When we moved to Hammonton in August 2013, we were blessed with 4 sets of wonderful neighbors. John and Erin Caruso at one end, Sheila Umosella and family at the other, Chris Graziano directly next to us, and the Barrios family directly to the other side.
As everyone has turned these houses into their homes, their personal touches have been made evident. Sheila's beautiful deck, Chris' meticulous care, and the Caruso's spectacular garden.
Louis and the Barrios were in the midst of creating their beautiful outdoor oasis as frightening news was received. Louis was diagnosed with Late stage Pancreatic Cancer.
With Louis and his family battling this horrific disease, discretionary spending (like a new deck) was put on hold indefinitely.
This is where we come in!
As Louis and his family have joined together to conquer this obstacle, what better time to show them that they are not alone by surprising them and building the deck they once dreamt of.
Now just to be clear, this is not a project that we HOPE to accomplish IF we hit this $5000 goal; we ARE doing this. I will gladly be paying out of pocket for any of the goal that is not met.
Our friend and spectacular carpenter, Dave Walker will be on site in Hammonton this Friday to start and complete the framing process.
This IS happening, and we couldn't be happier to help bring some light to such wonderful people in dark, trying times.
Anything you can do to help support us in this endeavor would be eternally appreciated.
