Support My Family During this Major Time of Need

Hello everybody,

I don’t typically do things like this, and it’s really out of my comfort zone. Quite frankly, I hate to have to resort to asking strangers and family for money. It feels like I’m begging, but I’m desperate, and I have a family I need to provide for. My grandfather passed away on August 26, 2024, and my daughter (12 years old) and I lived with him. It’s a lot to process because not only do I have to grieve my grandfather, I also have to grieve the loss of a roof over our heads. With him being gone, his home will go up for foreclosure soon because the bank owns his home, therefore leaving us homeless with no place to go. These last few months have been extremely hard for me to provide financially. Not only do I have a daughter, I also have 2 dogs. There is a positive side to this situation.

I found an apartment and was approved, but I don’t have enough for the security deposit. The money that is donated will go straight to my security deposit and the first month rent. I’ve been keeping the fact that I got the apartment a secret from my daughter because I’m going to surprise her for Christmas. So your support would be greatly appreciated at this time. I’m asking if there are any kind-hearted people out there who will help me and my daughter raise the money to move into our new apartment.
