Hi, my name is David. My wife Terri and I have 5 children, Kenny (11), Evangelina (12), Angelica (13), David (14), and 17 year old Stephanie Zuniga.
On February 23,2015 Stephanie was diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukemia, AML. She was hospitalized at Loma Linda Children's Hospital from February- July 2015. Stephanie was home with us from August- October 22, and unfortunately, Stephanie's Leukemia came back. She is currently back at Lona Linda Children's Hospital, which is why we are askjng for any kind of help. We live about 45 miles away from the hospital. It is difficult to drive that far each day. We sometimes stay at the Ronald McDonald House across the street from the Hospital. It has been difficult to work because most employers are not understanding. Our family is going though a difficult time, and it has been hard mentally, physically, emotionally, and finacially.
Stephanie really needs us by her side right now. We try to even it out between her and her siblings who arent sick, and at the same time try to keep up with everyday obligations.
Stephanie needs a bone marrow transplant, and her 14 year old brother and her 12 year old sister are a match. Stephanie has long rough road to cross. We have faith and believe that this will all come to pass. Stephanie is our Super Girl . She is such a fighter and is so strong. Whatever God puts on your heart to bless us though this time of need, we greatly appreciate it.
