My name is Calvinia, I’m organizing this campaign on behalf of my son, Stephon, and future daughter-in-law, Irmalys, who are expecting their first child in the coming months!

Unfortunately, they’re facing financial challenges and need help to cover the cost of their baby’s delivery.

Living in Los Angeles has been tough. Stephon’s vehicle was recently stolen, along with essential tools he needs for his business. Thankfully the car was recovered along with some of his tools, yet many were stolen.

They had to use a portion of their savings to get the car out of the impound.

While they do have medical insurance, it isn’t enough to make the out-of-pocket costs for a hospital delivery affordable. They’ve decided to go with a midwife, which is not only more affordable but also Irmalys’ preferred choice. However, even this option is financially out of reach for them.

Stephon and Irmalys have been a source of inspiration to our family, moving across the country to follow their dreams and overcoming many challenges along the way. All money donated will go directly toward securing their midwife, allowing them to focus on their new baby and rebuilding Stephon’s business.
