Help Sumeet pay for life-saving treatment
Donation protected
In September this year, I moved to Delhi. Yesterday I learned that Sumeet, a dear friend and colleague of ten years, was in hospital fighting for his life. I was in shock: though I knew he'd been suffering with diabetes, high blood pressure and kidney problems, no one expected him to end up on life support.
Recently, his eyesight had started to fade, severely restricting his ability to work and live his day-to-day life. He was sent to a specialist hospital for dialysis treatment where he was put on a ventilator.
A terrible accident occurred in this hopsital, suddenly cutting off the flow of oxygen to his brain. His body went into a coma. The doctors are unable to tell us how long it will be until he regains consciousness, but every day in hospital costs a lot of money - an unforeseen cost for his family, who are now needing to pay around £500 per day just to keep him alive.
Please help us urgently raise funds to help his family, and to save Sumeet's life.
