Devin's Eagle Scout Project

Hello, my name is Devin Nichols and I am a Life Scout in Troop 351 in Merrick. I am planning a three-part Eagle Scout Project to benefit the United Methodist Church of Merrick. For my Eagle Scout Project, I will build an 8 x 10-foot shed for much-needed storage for the Church.  Secondly, I will build a hand railing to provide a safe entrance and exit from the rear of the church. Next, I will take down and remove a dilapidated fence that borders the perimeter of the property. Lastly, I will provide a  cleanup for the Church and rid the property of litter, debris, and leaves.

In order for me to complete this project and make it a reality, I will need to raise funds to support this project. I will need to purchase building materials, supplies, food, tools, and other necessary items to complete the stated tasks.  Depending on the weather and the current pandemic, I am hopeful to begin this project in February.
