There is no burden heavier for a parent than losing a child. Shane Cassel, 27 years old, of LaPorte, Texas,  passed away 9/5/14, at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston, Texas from a brain aneurysm and massive brain hemorrhage. Shane was a sensitive, kindhearted young man who loved fishing, camping, trucks, and working on cars and trucks.  Most of all he loved his family and his dog, Hunter. Shane's last gift was to donated his organs, so that he could help give life back to several people who are so desperatley depending on a new organ in order to live. This page is being set up to assist his Mom in paying for his ambulance, life flight, medical and funeral expenses. Its difficult enough that she lost her only beloved child, but it would be a wonderful blessing for her to have some much needed help to bear the financial burdens of his passing.
