Hi everyone I’m fundraising for my 74 year old dad who does a lot of volunteer work for the community and mission projects
at his church. He is now in need of a little help himself. His cancer journey started when he had a raspy voice and difficulty swallowing. After seeing several doctors he was diagnosed with a rare form of neck cancer (thyroid cartilage chendrosarcoma.) The doctors at Maine medical referred him to Mass. eye and ear head and neck division for surgery in Boston. My father received his surgery in May 2022 and spent 10 days in the hospital with a feeding tube. it was several days before he could talk and a bout six weeks before his swallowing get back to normal. The follow up visits went OK and now he’s waiting for his six month CAT scan to see what further treatment is needed. my dad is not the type of person that would ask for help so any little bit would! help thank you and God bless.
