Cancer Picked The Wrong Guy!

Donation protected
On Father's day this year Derron had come home with a buddy to ride his motorcycle. While talking to his buddy in the garage before he got on his bike he lost consciousness & his buddy caught him & slid him to the ground as easily as he could so he didn't hit the ground hard. Derron's wife Sarah ran out because she heard him fall against the garage door. He didn't know who they were for about 10-15 min. It took about 30 min before he could stand up & try to make it inside but that didn't work he had lost all his bodily functions. So his buddy carried him in & up the stairs safely. They were scared that he had a stroke. After about an hour in the ER the doctors came in & told them his kidney is failing( he lost the other kidney as a baby). His creatinine level was at a 25 & a normal healthy male should be around 1. He had to have 4 emergency blood transfusions because his blood level was so low. They admitted him immediately. After a day or 2 in ICU the doctors took some images which showed 2 tumors. After a biopsy the tumors came out cancer positive (plasmacytoma is what is called specifically.) So the doctors recommend starting radiation to shrink the tumors & hopefully surgically remove them when they get to an operable size while doing dialysis 3 days a week as well. The doctors have to hold off on anything to do with his kidney to remove the tumors & see if kidney function comes back to normal or if he will then need a transplant. He is 34 & the main provider for his family. Went from being up at 4:30-5am every day for work & sometimes working into the night 6 days a week to being hospital bound in a bed. Due to being in the bed for so long he has muscle atrophy & has to walk with a walker until he gets his strength back & can gain that back. So working is impossible at the moment for him but rent is still due & family still needs to be fed. His wife is working but doesnt make nearly as much as he did to even cover the basics. Social security disability is going to take time to kick in before they even have that option.

Derron is a hard working man, he is a loving partner, a devoted and loving father to his 11 year old daughter Alayna, a brother and a great friend.  We don't know why bad things happen to good people but we couldn't just sit back and do nothing to someone who is practically family.  My husband Caleb Williams and I and all our friends are asking for donations to help the Bryant family in this time of need. To help take some weight off their shoulders. The donations will help cover medical bills, monthly rent and monthly bills, and help support the family during these hard times. We don't really have a goal, any donations would be appreciated and help so much.

Let's all send prayers and good vibes and healing to our buddy Derron. To his wife, and daughter and family. Derron is a true fighter and won't let Cancer get the best of him. Derron is a big hearted man who would do anything for anyone. Now let's show the same love he gives and help him out. Anything is appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to read his story and donating. ❤️

With love,
Carey & Caleb Williams
