Sharon Brooks-Barnes Memorial Fund

Sharon Brooks Barnes was born on August 8th 1962. She left us on February 10th, 2021 around 4pm at Geisinger Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. She passed from a stroke, where she had to get air lifted to the hospital and almost immediately had to be placed on life support. Sharon's last day, she was able to have her husband Thomas and children Eric, Chris, Brandon, and Sarah with her as they said their goodbyes and she was released from her life support.
Sharon was a strong matriarch of 2 households, taking care of her family the best way she knew how. Always up early for farm chores, to take care of her grandchildren, father and her husband. Sharon's father has been grief stricken ever since his wife's passing in 2011 and Sharon never thought twice when she began to take care of her father and his house while he was dealing with the loss of his wife and his weakening health.  Her husband is disabled and had a lot of medical expenses that went along with taking care of him. Although money was tight she always made sure he was being taken care of. Sharon was a strong believer in God and a avid church goer. Her church of choice was Springville United Methodist where she always tried to be active in all the community activities and be there for everyone who needed help.
At this current time Sharon's son Brandon Barnes is taking care of all the expenses and bills in the household. We're asking for some help with the final expenses that will be coming in the following weeks.
