Please Help My Sister With Medical Expenses

Hello everyone, my name is Kandi and I'm fundraising for my amazing little sister and my precious little niece and nephew. My sister is a hard worker and has been all her life. She's worked tirelessly as a CNA helping in nursing homes, Alzheimer's facilities, with a podiatrist in a foot care clinic and with at home assisted living. She has four beautiful children and her two youngest have been in and out of hospitals since they were born, which has forced her to take available part-time jobs which offer no health insurance. She has had to drive countless hours from North Dakota to Minnesota to go to the hospitals that have the care facilities they need. My little niece is 4 years old and has Trisomy 21, more commonly known as Down Syndrome. My 2-year-old nephew is still undiagnosed though he has undergone hours of studies with one doctor saying he suspects autism but there has been no official diagnosis on that.  They have already said he suffers from migraines and abdominal migraines but continues to suffer from spells with an unknown cause and they want to do further genetics testing on him. They are both so sweet, cute and precious and my sister has been doing everything in her power to give them the care they need but recently came up against some very wicked dealings in the world of Medicaid. She had appointments approved and already paid the rather large amounts she thought she would owe but got hit with a $4,000 medical bill that she had no warning about. She now has bill collectors calling on a regular basis and she herself has been dealing with medical issues; one of which recently required surgery. She has also been diagnosed with a painful and aggressive arthritis in her back and cannot lift and care for people the way she used to as a CNA. She didn't want to ask for help so I'm doing it for her. Our family and others have already been helping over the past 4 years for the trips to these doctors and the hotel stays and the gas and food expenses and her rent. She no longer has her most recent job helping farmers in the agriculture sector so I've decided to set up this Go Fund Me in the hopes that we can get these medical expenses paid off and stop the bill collectors. Any little amount will help to alleviate this stressful situation leading to sleepless nights and many tears on what to do next and how to make ends meet.
