Help Alex and Holly Padilla

Hi! I am Kristal Lewis Menchaca and I started this Go Fund Me to help an amazing family. Alex Padilla, 46, is currently hospitalized in Temple with complications from COVID. As of today, he has been on a ventilator for 12 days and on the ECMO for 4 days. He is in critical condition.

Alex is a 1992 graduate of Midland Lee and his wife, Holly Preas-Padilla is a 1992 graduate of Midland High School. They have three children who are the light of their lives. Holly did not ask for this Go Fund Me to be started but she did give me permission to proceed. Those of you that know these two, know that they would never ask for help. However, I do not know two people that deserve it more. They would literally give the shirts off of their backs for anyone in need and it is time for us to return that favor.

Holly shared that she has been allowed leave from work to be with Alex but it is leave without pay. Alex started a new job about 3 months ago and doesn't qualify for FMLA. Lost wages plus the financial tsunami that will result from medical expenses will be overwhelming.
