Living in our car

Hi my name is Pamela and my son Sal. We were recently kicked out of our roommate’s home because he never told his landlord we were going to be living with him. He took most of our money to pay bills and sexually harassed both of us. Because of this, me and my son are now forced to live in our car. Because the roommate took all of our money, we are having a very hard time this month paying for simple food, gas, and showers. We can’t even afford a one night hotel stay.

Things will get easier for us, this situation is temporary and we are not giving up hope. But regardless, this first month of homelessness has been very hard and any little bit helps.

our budget right now is 3$ a day for food. We can’t sustain ourselves off of that, as you can imagine. Somehow we’re making it work.

By Sending us any funds, big or small, you’ll be helping us afford food, gas, and hotel stays for showers basically. We do not use any substances such as drugs or alcohol, my son does digital art commissions but if you know anything about that, the income is inconsistent and unreliable.
