Please Help Ibrahim and His Family!

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Tasia Wallace (Hinojos). I am a mom of three and teacher from the United States. I am raising funds for my dear friend, Ibrahim, and his family.

Ibrahim's family is from Northern G@za. They lived a good life until there home was bombed in November forcing them to take shelter at a nearby school.

On November 22nd, the school was bombed. Ibrahim sustained injuries from the blast and was shot whilst being carried to safety. Ibrahim was rushed to Kamal Edwan Hospital and underwent an amputation of his hand due to blood loss. The amputation was done without anesthesia.

Due to the life threatening nature of the injuries, Ibrahim and his mother, Amani, and were forced to leave behind their family and travel south to Nasser hospital for life saving treatment. At Nasser hospital the extent of Ibrahim's injuries became apparent. He was forced to undergo a second amputation of the lower part of his right arm due to a bone infection. Even more concerning, there is shrapnel in his lungs, kidneys, legs, and pelvic bone. He lost function in one kidney due to his injuries and his other kidney is only partially functioning. Ibrahim spent 2 months at Nasser hospital. Unfortunately, they were displaced yet again when Nasser hospital was besieged by the Isr@eli army.

Currently, Ibrahim and Amani are in Rafah at a field hospital. They are alone and haven't seen their family in 4 months. The rest of the family is trapped in Northern Gaza without food, water, and other basic necessities. This includes Ibrahim's father, 2 sisters (Rana- 15, Dima- 12), and 3 brothers (Falah- 19, Muhammad- 18, Moaz- 17). One of Ibrahim's brothers, Moaz, currently has an injury to his arm that requires surgery.

The hope is that the family can be reunited one day. However, the most pressing concern, in addition to Ibrahim's medical needs, is that Amani and Ibrahim make it out of Gaza before there is a ground invasion and/or the Egyptian border closes.

Now let's talk about where the funds will go...

I am going to be completely transparent. Multiple NGOs have been working on Ibrahim's case (for months) in an attempt to give him the medical evacuation he needs. Currently, the PCRF is trying to evacuate Ibrahim. Unfortunately, Isr@el has the final say on who can go on the medical evacuation list and they are denying Amani entry. This has complicated things and at the moment it is uncertain whether or not Ibrahim will get the medical evacuation he desperately needs. I am writing this with the knowledge I have at this moment in time. It will be updated frequently as the situation unfolds.

If Ibrahim is able to get a medial evacuation, funds raised will go toward evacuating his family and basic life necessities such as food. If he is not able to get a medical evacuation through PCRF, money raised will go toward evacuating Ibrahim and his mother as well as medical costs for Ibrahim’s treatment. Anything additional will go toward evacuating the rest of the family. Regardless of what happens, Ibrahim's family will be receiving all funds donated. More details will be shared as they become available.

I appreciate your understanding of the urgent nature of this request, as well as your trust and flexibility with the evolving nature of the situation in R@fah. Please reach out with any questions.

We are eternally grateful for every dollar donated. Thank you.
