Chubbys fight!

On July 31st 12-year-old Chubby had a nose bleed that lasted longer than usual; once the nose bleed was under control, he started having some bloody vomit which alarmed his mom to take him into the ER; once they got to the ER they began to run some tests. The Dr came back after running some blood work and gave them the news that would change their life from that moment on.

Chubby was diagnosed with leukemia and airlifted to Seattle Children’s, where he will receive his cancer care for the next few months. No child deserves to go through this, but we are sure he will beat this battle and come out stronger than ever. He is strong, loving and lights up any room he is in. Chubby has his mother Veronica and his father Ismael right by his side. He has four sisters, and his huge loving family is all rooting for him from a distance.

This has been a rough time for everyone. Their father, their sole provider, had to leave his job to be in Seattle, and unfortunately, bills and needs don’t stop as they have four other children to care for. I created this fund to help the family with some financial peace during this next chapter of life. These funds raised will be used to help them with travel expenses, bills and expenses to keep their 4 girls taken care of while they are away with their son.
