Andrea’s Journey.

Hi Whanau. 

It is with a very heavy heart I set this page up. This Monday evening Andrea was rushed to ICU in Palmerston North as  she suffered a really bad brain bleed. That same night she was air lifted to Wellington ICU and is still in a critical condition. 

Neurosurgeons are waiting until tomorrow (Thursday 18/07) to operate as the main focus since Andrea being in hospital has been to release some pressure on the brain and keep her vitals stable. 

Andrea is a strong, selfless lady who has always been the first to make sure everyone’s ok before herself. Her whanau mean everything to her and its with their blessing I create this page to try and alleviate some financial stress off them while they deal with the emotional turmoil of this all. They are currently having to fund their own accommodation etc - depending on how surgery goes will determine how long they will be in Wellington. 

All koha donated will be going directly to the family to help with with accommodation, food, commute petrol and any unforeseen expenses in the wake of Andreas surgery tomorrow.
