My name is Tracy Katoski and I am reaching out to you for your help for a very dear friend of mine, Gloria Stewart and her daughter, Chi. Chi is a dedicated and loving mom of two young sons.
Last Saturday, Chi was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She had the surgery last week and is now waiting for the pathology results. It is said that, "strength doesn't come from the things you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't." And trust me when I say that this mother and daughter duo are strong women who have overcome many things the last couple of years. This is not the first medical hurdle Chi has had to navigate over. Several years ago she was diagnosed with Brugada syndrome which is a condition that causes a disruption of the heart's normal rhythm. It affects about 5 in 10,000 people worldwide. Chi had a cardiac defibrillator (ICD) (similar to a pacemaker) surgically implanted to adjust and monitor her heart's rhythm. Last year both women suffered an immeasurable loss when Junior, Gloria's husband and Chi's dad died suddenly from cardiac arrest.
I have started this Go Fund Me account to help ease the financial burden that Gloria and Chi will likely encounter during Chi's healing and recovery process. I have started this Go Fund Me account for Chi's young sons, as well. Over the next days, weeks, and months ahead Chi will need to be at doctor appointments and based upon the results of the pathology report...she will need to begin treatment to kick the crap out the tumor and possibly further surgeries. As you can imagine just the normal costs of every day living...such as mortgage, food, gas, car, utilities can be overwhelming; never mind the medical costs that can be astronomical.
This Go Fund Me account will enable Chi to concentrate on getting better and enable Gloria to take care of and provide for her beloved daughter, Chi and her beloved grandsons.
