Amy Thurston is a wonderful mother, sister, wife, best friend and cousin. Being an office manager for over 40 years, for many different doctors, Amy has always taken care of her patients. Amy is the glue that has always kept the family together, being the oldest of five siblings. She has been a role model, matriarch and loving supporter for all of us. Now it is our turn to support her....Regretably last September 2014 all that changed when Amy was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer that has metastisised to her liver and adrenal glands. Amy has weathered several attempts of Chemo-Therapy, never complaining even with immense pain, that she endures in her back and stomach. Although Amy was the Office Manager for her Primary Care Physician, sadly, due to her cancer diagnosis, she was let go from her job. Being too young, at 61 to receive Medicare, she has not had an income in months. We are opening this GoFundMe account for Amy in the hopes of helping her pay her overwhelming medical bills and basic necessities. These are due to the high cost of insurance, co-pays and deductibles. We hope you can see it in your heart to help us support the ever-loving Amy! Your contributions will be forever appreciated.
