Hi, I’m Danielle, and my heart absolutely broke when I saw this kitty on my street feed last night.

I’ve never seen this particular kitty before and as soon as I dropped some food for him, he went for it straight away. I noticed a horrible smell coming from him. Then I saw his ear. It was almost gone and theres a wound which is completely open.

I couldn’t leave him there. I debated for a long time about what I could do for him as I already have quite a few cats at home.

Then I contacted the shelter WLPA. And thank God I was able to get in contact with the vet who can give me discounted rates.

Now the surgery that I need to get for him includes his opened wound on his ear which had maggots. He needs a blood test as he is jaundice and possible anemic (meaning surgery might be risky we need to check). He has cancer on that ear and a spot on his nose which needs to be removed. He also needs some ongoing care for post surgery and to stop from further infection.

I’m trying to raise these funds to help me provide that care for him. He’s actually such a sweet little baby. The whole time I had him he was so kind to me despite his situation. I tried to brush him and get rid of some of the knots on him and even if he was in pain, he didn’t hurt me. He just tapped my hand.

It turns out that he is desexed although not microchipped. I have a feeling that he was someone’s cat because he’s just way too friendly to have been grown up on the streets. I feed a lot of street cats and none of them are to his degree of friendliness.

Post surgery if anyone would like to adopt him I would love to help find his home but at this stage if we can just get him back to good health, he is the sweetest baby and I just want to see him happy and pain-free.

Whatever you can spare, even if it’s just one dollar, it makes a huge difference.

Thank you and may God bless you!
