Please help support Taylor Windes, the church's caretaker and one of the cornerstones of the 6th Avenue UCC in Denver. Taylor has been a consistently giving hand in keeping the church running smoothly and in keeping the community strong and healthy. Unfortunately, some medical events have placed her in a place of need. Let's help lift her back to a place where she can continue her focus on giving to the community. Something tore in her shoulder while transporting the lawn mower up from the furnace room. She had to have two surgeries on that arm, including a full shoulder replacement. This necessitates being on medication for the rest of her life.

Taylor K. Windes joined Sixth Avenue UCC about nine years ago. Recently retired from private practice, she holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree, which she received from the University of Oklahoma in 1982. She spent time as an air traffic controller with the FAA and served the US Army honorably for years. Her time spent in these fields prepared her for her service at the church in dealing with the community needs.

Her responsibilities at the UCC are a great opportunity for her to move around and stay active.
