I am sharing a message from Paul Muhindo, the Pastor of the Kasese Uganda Church of Christ. The Director of the Delight Children Ed Center School. We are registered and verified children's school ministry. I am Paul and my Juliet were Orphan children ourselves when we were young children. God, put it upon our hearts to open a free non-profit school to educate less fortunate children to have an education and a better life and future. Through our walk with God in our faith and guidance through God's word in the bible. We give thanks to God in being able to accomplish our goal. We have started the school in 2018 with 16 students in a small school building. This year 2023 there are now 400+ students. My wife Juliet and I along with teachers, school staff members oversee the needs of orphans and less fortunate children. Donations provided will help keep the school open, being able pay volunteer teachers, staff, and director of the school in being able to care and educate the children. Funds will also, help with educational materials, urgent needs of the children, and family members who have on-going health issues or permanent disabilities and widows who live alone with or without their children. There are many urgent needs that arise unexpectedly at the school or in their community or church members and those studying the bible within our Ministry. Most of these helpless children are Orphans and homeless. Some children live with family members who are very poor or who have physical, mental, or permanent disablilities. Some of these children have lost their parents and live at the school building or homes provided by volunteers who have spare rooms. Update: 2023, They now have 10 rooms built since then with 175 students. The donations also, went towards wood, for building desks benches for the children to sit down on with the table for their school. They hired builders to put wood for the inside and out side of the building and weeded wood to divide the classrooms, primer and paint, other necessities for building the classrooms nails, and cement for classrooms floors. Continuous donations will also help with holiday's for food and gifts for children. The school ministry and church community ministry is also in need of bible for the children and staff in sharing God's word and their spiritual growth. The donations will also help pay the rent that the school is on. We are hoping to raise enough money for permanent land for the school for secure stability for the children.
Please help with continuous donations to keep the school open and help these children to have a successful life and future they deserve. All donations, are greatly appreciated.
2024 Update: Students have increased to 703 students and there are now 13 class rooms were built. We want to thank Denice and Bob MacKenzie so much! Water Tank, Solar Panels, A suv car or truck needed for travel for buying necessary needs food, water, clothing, materials for the school and building needs, tools, maintenance, medical care and other urgent needs.
