Helping to rebuild Lynne's Life
Donation protected

My sweet friend of many years and neighbor, Lynne, along with her longtime boyfriend, Tom, lost everything they own in a tragic, massive, 7-alarm condo fire late Friday night. Their beloved neighbor did not make it out alive, nor did their 3 cats (their "children"). Lynne's car was totaled just last month. And as life would have it, her renter's insurance had just expired and renewing it was on top of her now-destroyed to-do list. Her new to-do list involves finding a place to live, replacing all homegoods, furniture, appliances, and clothing, and buying a car. Lynne is the sweetest girl, shy, and would never dream of asking for help, but she was by my side to help me when I needed it and sent my precious baby girl Lilly Pulitzer clothes when she knew I could not spend money on such things after my husband died. It's my turn to get the village to help out Lynne & Tom, who are so grateful to be alive and safe but obviously overwhelmed with the giant task of starting ALL OVER.
If you have clothing womens size XXL or 20-22 and/or men's clothing size XL or 38 pants, you can mail or drop off at Lynne's parents' home or my condo and I will get them to her. Please email me at [email redacted] for the address for privacy purposes.
Kitchen appliances also appreciated.
Gift cards can also be mailed and would be SUPER helpful so they can pick out a few things in their fresh start.
We literally never know what life will bring us moment to moment - when we help our friends, I promise it comes back to you when you need it most. Thank you for being a part of Lynne & Tom's village.
