As I sit here trying to think of what to say or how to word such devastation. My heart is heavy not only for the loss of one of my best friends but for the truly tragic loss that his family has experienced this week.
For those of you who don’t know, Cory’s son Deegan past away in a tragic car accident just a few days ago, May 20/19. News that shattered Cory as well as all his family and by the looks of all the support shown on social media it has also shattered the community where Deegan lived.
I couldn’t imagine the pain of losing one of your children, that’s something I have never personally had to experience but I know some that have and it completely devastates everyone involved.
Hard enough as it is to lay a young family member to rest, times were about to get tougher.
Sometime on Saturday morning May 25/19, Cory Pelletier was found unresponsive and had past away in Kelowna BC.
Cory's parents George and Elaine will be traveling to Kelowna shortly after laying their grandson Deegan to rest, to bring Cory Home so we can all celebrate his life and we can lay him to rest surrounded by his family and friends. Once funeral arrangements have been made I will keep everyone updated via FB post.
The reason for this go fund me page is to help George and Elaine cover costs to bring Cory home ($3500) as well as cover as much costs as we can for the funerals of both Cory and his son Deegan.
A celebration of Cory’s life will be held on Saturday June 8/19 at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Saskatoon SK.
Address: 1121 Northumberland Ave.
❤️ We all love you Cory and Deegan!❤️
❤️ We hope you are both at peace now! ❤️
Thank You all for your support, your donations, and your kind words and encouragement. ❤️
