Hi Friends,

My name is Auden and I am fundraising to help publish my first book series.

As a child I would write into the early morning. Short stories, poems, songs, you name it. As I got older I was unable to write as much due to college and jobs. That changed in 2017 when I lost my best friend to suicide.

I turned to writing as a way to cope, to understand the pain that I had felt within my soul. I wrote a 67 paged poetry manuscript that helped me come to terms with my past, what his death meant, and how to love myself through the pain. Those are words that I am not quite ready to share, but hopefully will someday.

In January of 2022 I began "A Golden Midnight." This story began as just an idea but as I began to mature the characters, I could not help but see the resemblance to my own life.

"A Golden Midnight" is an enthralling fantasy novel that immerses readers in a world of magic, mystery, and transformation. The story follows the life of an enigmatic protagonist, who discovers her unique and potent magical abilities, embarking on a journey of self-discovery and danger. In a world where magic is real, bloodlines and Kingdom's hold varying degrees of power, and secrets lie concealed within every corner, the quest for self-discovery unfolds. As she continues to confront her past, she grapples with her purpose in the world. She is a compelling character, strong-willed and fierce, yet vulnerable and conflicted.

"A Golden Midnight" immerses readers in a world of self-discovery, sacrifice, and the profound consequences of choices made in the name of love.

This is book 1 of a 4 book series, which I have already started to write the 2nd book, "A Silver Sun".

I am getting ready for "A Golden Midnight" to be edited professionally and my hope is to self publish this first book in the series to the world by March 2024.
