Hi friends,

As most of you are aware, this sweet boy entered our care a few days ago after having lived the first few years of his life on a chain, exposed to all elements, with no adequate shelter, veterinary care or nutrition.

Samson, or Sam, as we have affectionately coined him, is severely underweight, with an incredibly poor body score. Given that this boy has seen and experienced neglect at its finest, he still has such a zest for life and a deep willingness to love and trust people.

We have begun his veterinary care, and we hope that you can help us on his road to recovery. Having the support of our community lessens the financial burden on us - as frankly, we couldn’t do it without you.

Thus far we have had a full blood panel taken, have begun his booster/vaccination schedule, and submitted a fecal sample. I will keep everyone updated on the results.
