Please help Edwin Benet in his battle with ALS.
Edwin Benet has been a fighter all his life. Now his last battle is with ALS, a terminal disease with no cure. From the very beginning life has been throwing haymakers Edwin's way. He was born 2 months premature and his twin brother died at birth. Edwin spent the first year of his life in an incubator. This time in the incubator left Edwin legally blind (20/200). The sight impairment led to him being misdiagnosed as developmentally disabled. Once released from the hospital Edwin lived in foster homes until he was finally adopted at 5 years old. In his 30s, he was involved in a life-threatening car-bicycle accident that tore his nose from his face, among other serious injuries. Being the fighter that he is Edwin did not let any of this keep him down. Far from it. He is a winner in life by any measure. He built and owned a successful bicycle shop that he had sold and retired from. He has a beautiful family and countless friends. But now he needs our help. His life insurance was recently canceled. He will leave behind a loving wife and two children. Please pray for Edwin, and give what you can to help his beautiful family.
