WHO WE ARE
Wir sind ein queer- und flinta*-fokussiertes Kollektiv, das dem gemeinnützigen Verein Smashed Candy e.V. Leipzig angehört.
Uns ist eine intersektionale, sexpositive, körperneutrale und machtkritische Haltung wichtig. Wir begreifen das als Prozess und sind stets froh über Feedback und Kritik!
Wir haben tolle, mit viel Liebe ausgebaute Räume, die von Einzelpersonen, Gruppen & Kollektiven genutzt werden können und sollen. Über den Verein lassen sich Förderungen beantragen, mit denen viele Konzepte umgesetzt werden können, und auch ohne Förderung wissen wir mittlerweile ganz gut, wie sich verschiedene Events finanzieren lassen.
THE STRUGGLE
Um das Candy Krush als Ort so zu halten, bedarf es sehr viel ehrenamtlicher Arbeit. Viele von uns sind oft an einer Belastungsgrenze. Trotzdem schaffen wir es aktuell nicht, unsere Miete von über 1000€ monatlich zu decken. Geschweige denn unsere Direktkredite zu tilgen.
Das heißt, dass wir vor allem damit beschäftigt sind, das Geld für die Miete aufzutreiben bzw. die Arbeitenden (Workshopgebende, Künstler*innen, Awareness...) fair zu entlohnen.
Dabei wollen wir uns viel mehr mit Workshops, Vorträgen und Soli (Play-) Partys beschäftigen, die aber leider nicht genug Geld einbringen.
HOW TO SUPPORT
- Spendet und teilt dieses GoFundMe
- Kommt zum Plenum und werdet Teil vom Kollektiv
- Mietet unsere Räume für eure Geburtstagsparty
- Werdet Fördermitglied oder aktives Mitglied im Verein (möglich ab 3€ im Monat)
- Plant eine private Playsession, Foto Shooting, Tattoo Session etc. bei uns
- Sprecht uns mit euren Ideen an: Workshops, Lesungen, (Play-) Partys
Bei allem gilt: die Preise und Konditionen sind verhandelbar, wir finden eine Lösung!

WHO WE ARE
We are a queer- and flinta*-focused collective that belongs to the non-profit association Smashed Candy e.V. Leipzig.
An intersectional, sex-positive, body-neutral, and power-critical attitude is important to us. We see this as a process and are always happy to receive feedback and criticism!
We have wonderful spaces that have been lovingly renovated and can and should be used by individuals, groups, and collectives. Through the association, you can apply for grants that can be used to implement many concepts, and even without funding, we now know quite well how to finance various events.
THE STRUGGLE
Keeping Candy Krush as a place requires a lot of volunteer work. Many of us are often at our breaking point. Nevertheless, we are currently unable to cover our rent of over €1,000 per month. Not to mention repaying our direct loans.
This means that we are primarily busy raising money for the rent and paying our workers (workshop facilitators, artists, awareness...) fairly.
We would much rather focus on workshops, lectures and solidarity parties, but unfortunately, these do not bring in enough money.
HOW TO SUPPORT
- Come to the plenary and become part of the collective
- Rent our rooms for your birthday party.
- Become a supporting or active member of the association (possible from 3€ per month).
- Plan a private play session, photo shoot, tattoo session, etc. with us.
- Release your ideas: workshops, readings, (play) parties.
The following applies to everything: prices and conditions are negotiable, we will find a solution.
Talk to us about your wishes and criticism, we are not service providers but want to create from the community with the community!
