Hello, this is Joy, Ryan’s sister. It’s been a rough few months for my brother Ryan & our family. Right after Thanksgiving, Ryan became ill with typical flu-like symptoms. He couldn’t keep any food down and just kept sleeping. After going to the doctors twice, they said to continue resting and fluids, as there were bad viruses going around.

Fast forward a month later, he had the same symptoms and hadn’t been to work. My parents made him go to the hospital because something was wrong, and he was starting to show signs of delusion. His potassium was dangerously low, and so was his B1. He was given IVs and then released. He followed up with his PCP the next day. That doctor immediately sent him back to a different hospital where he stayed for a week. He is now at a third hospital for inpatient rehabilitation with no release date.

He suffered brain/memory confusion, inability to walk without assistance, and is currently participating in physical therapy three times a day. His job does not offer short-term disability, and all of his bills are piling up due to not working for 2+ months.

If you can donate even the smallest amount, it would help tremendously. Ryan has always helped out so many people with their cars, motorcycles, and home projects. It would be great for him to receive some help in his time of need.
