Hi I’m Brenda,
My friends and I are doing a sponsored walk to fund raise to support my 21 year old daughter, who has started her own hair braiding boutique business in Leeds. This has been a dream of hers for so long, and I am so proud of what she has achieved. She has graduated from university and has achieved a degree in Accountancy & Finance.
She has been braiding from her bedroom since a young age, practising on dolls, family, and friends, plus anyone who wanted their hair done for free, lol. She has managed to recently find some premises herself and has raised 85% of the funds with the help of her parents, family and friends, however she needs further support to raise the extra 15% to complete and fully launch the business of her dreams!.
I have arranged a sponsored walk with a group of supporters who are kindly willing to help me with this cause.

Details of the walk:
Saturday 13th of September 2025
Starts 10am
We are changing the venue of the walk to somewhere more local Eccup resevior. The walk still takes about 2.5 hours, and we are plan to meet at 10 am and celebrate with brunch/lunch afterwards.
The best place to park is on Lakeland Drive LS17.
