My name is Emanuela Matei, member of Madrid’s Sangha (unfortunately not been a very active member in the last 5 years, because of my disease).
I‘ve never imagined that being young, I could have this extreme health situation, and I need to ask for help….but here I am.
I’ve been suffering for the last 5 years with lumbar and cervical herniated discs. I’ve been waiting for 2 years and a half for surgery, but because of the pandemic situation, all the hospitals work on minimal for other health issues.
I’ve been trying many therapies, but no result, just a lot of money spent.
So after living in Spain for 20 years, because of the huge waiting list in the public health system, I couldn’t have my operation in Spain, and I had to go to my home, Romania, to get the operation in the private system.
Waiting for so long, with so much pain, made my health problem worse, I couldn’t stand it even with morphine, and brought me to a situation where only a complex and very expensive operation, could solve my problem. They fixed 2 vertebras they used metal plates, screws, and a very expensive implant.
Of course, I couldn’t work all this time, I spent all my savings and my family’s savings.
But after 3 years and a half, I had the operation, I was happy, and finally, I thought my pain was finished. Unfortunately, after three months the disc above the operated area, had a little bulge, now, it has gotten worse, giving me pain, and needing another operation, in the future.
I’m in a very difficult situation, with no money left, for the recovery treatments and living, since I can t work.
And all this situation brought me to a severe depression, which makes things worse.
It`s been now 2 years of fighting also with depression. I am deeply ashamed that after all the pointing and Knowledge of our Guruji, I got so depressed.
It’s so difficult for me to ask for help, but I really need it.
It’s been now 5 years of diseases, spending all my savings, and my family’s savings, and still unable to work.
I would love to be able to go to Monte Sahaja and be around our master. I hope this would help me with my inner state.
