Hi, my name is Arik and I am trying to raise funds so I can privately get top surgery.

I have been on the NHS waiting list for since 2021 and recently transfered to a different gender clinic as they had a shorter wait time. Sadly due to the NHS's funding and lack of gender care I won't be seen for 2-3 years and maybe 7-10 years if not longer before I would be able to access top surgery. I would be in my 40s at that point and would really like to experience my life properly before then.

I have had to privately fund my transition until this point, sadly the amount needed for top surgery is just so much and there are not many surgeons who would do surgery for someone of my weight. I stradle the line between being acceptable and not.

I would use this money to fund the referral letter, surgery itself and travel needed to get to the surgeon.

I’ve been growing a rat tail ever since I started testosterone. It’s reached just below my shoulder blades now. I’m using this to signify how long it can take for someone to be seen on the nhs or fund money for private top surgery
