I am a 6th grade Earth Science teacher at Vanguard Collegiate Middle School in Baltimore City (MORGAN STATE ALUM). My 6th graders have the opportunity to visit North Bay Adventure Camp for a week where they will study different fields of science while also facing their fears through a high ropes course, kayaking in the bay, indoor and outdoor climbing walls, and zip lines. Unfortunately, the trip is much too costly ($125 a child) for the majority (if not ALL) of the 6th graders to attend. With your donation, you will help bring the price down per student and give them a better chance at experiencing this once in a lifetime opportunity. Students will be doing their own fundraisers to help them pay for what ever amount is left. For many students in the inner-city, it is rare for them to have any type of camping experience throughout their childhood.
