In 2009, my husband suffered an anoxic brain injury, and he has been totally disabled ever since.  He can barely move his body and can't speak, but I firmly believe that he is very aware of what is going on around him and would have something to say if only he had a way to say it.  I'm trying to raise money for a new laptop and this hardware to help him communicate and have a little control over his environment.
